Get good grades! Study well and do whatever it takes to achieve a GPA of 80% or higher.
Be in the right place. Be enrolled in a public or parochial school in New York City at the time of your application.
Master math. Ensure that you have a spring minimum math score of (TEM) 3
Master reading. Ensure that you have a spring minimum reading score of (CTB) 3

Devote the time. Be prepared to spend five hours on each of 30 Saturdays during the school year, and for six hours a day during the summer.
